Local small businessman, Michael Gidley, is the Liberal Party candidate in Mount Waverley. Michael owns and operates a small business in the eastern suburbs, specialising in business development and accounting services. As a small business operator in this field, Michael will be a strong advocate of local businesses and employers in Mount Waverley. Michael has a first-hand understanding of the need for a reduction in State Government red tape and interference.

Michael has a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University, and is currently studying for a Masters of Practicing Accounting from Monash University.
