In Ferntree Gully, the local Liberal candidate is Nick Wakeling. Nick is a strong voice for the needs of his community, and has been a local councillor since 2003.

Nick is an advocate for local issues including the combating of traffic congestion, and fighting for a 24 hour Police Station in Rowville. Nick is an Industrial Relations adviser for a large labour hire company, and understands what it takes to create job growth and a strong workforce.

Nick and his wife Levili are living, and raising a family, in Rowville. Nick has a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University and a Masters in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations from Monash University.
